Abacus expands!

When I started Storyboardr, it was because I thought that business writing was important, but few of us are really taught how to do it. However, it turns out that there’s a bigger picture - it’s part of a set of soft skills that we all need to thrive in today’s novel and uncertain workplaces. It’s why I was delighted to start working with Lorenza at LMSFirst, combining training and coaching to offer a more rounded development approach centred on the person. We called our new collaboration the Abacus Collective.

Little more than a month on and Abacus is expanding - our collective now includes Nick Muddle’s Pareto Frontiers. Nick specialises in business cases and benefits management, two crucial skills in any organisation. It turns out that as well as telling stories with words, you can do the same with benefits - whether financial, social or environmental. The clarity required to turn visions and goals into benefits and outcomes is a great capability to have, and Nick’s is a valuable addition to the Abacus portfolio.

As with our other offerings, it’s the blend of coaching, consulting and training that really makes a difference, delivered by someone that has the practical experience and knowledge to stand out from the humdrum.
